Hola. Ha llegado el diez de octubre (sí, sí, y parece que ayer hablábamos de la vuelta al cole) y con él un nuevo reto en A Blog Named Hero. En esta ocasión el tema es craft, blanco y otro color. Para ello he elaborado dos tarjetas utilizando el mismo set, de la última colección de Hero Arts, ‘Layering Fall trees’.
Hi. Already is October the 10th (yes, I know you think we were talking about back to school just yesterday) and there is a new challenge at A Blog Named Hero. This time the current theme is kraft, white and one colour all together. I made two card using the ‘Layering Fall trees’ stamp set by Hero Arts from their last release.
Obviamente, una de ellas lleva blanco y otra no. Bien, en la primera tarjeta he combinado tintas blancas dye y pigmento. Porque el acabado es distinto y se aprecia en las estampación, tienen diferentes tonalidades lo que, en mi opinión, le da más juego al árbol. El mensaje está estampado con la misma tinta que el tronco porque no quería añadir más colores aunque no quede muy potente. Pero me encanta porque toda la tarjeta me aporta serenidad.
Obviously, one card has white and the other one does not. For the first one I combined dye and pigment white inks. The result of them is different and you can see it when they are dried. That adds more details to the three, in my opinion. Greeting is stamped using the same ink that trunk. I didn´t want to add more colours even if is soft. I love it, it shows serenity.
Por otro lado, elaboré otra tarjeta con la misma estructura pero sin incluir blanco. El marrón es más fuerte y la estampación que corresponde a las hojas del árbol tiene marrones, verdes y amarillos combinados. Para terminar, redondeé una esquina y añadí falso cosido con un rotulador permanente marrón. La verdad es que este set de sellos me parece genial y fuera de lo habitual en los sellos de estampación en capas, tan de moda ahora mismo.
I made a second card with the same skecth but without white. The brown ink is stronger and there is browns, greens and yellows to fill the tree. To finish I give an around look to one of the corners and false stitched using a brown permanent marker. The truth is that I love this stamp set. I think is not the usual colouring layering stamp set, so trendy right now, and gives a lot of different possibilities.
